Wake Up Call

I'm sorry I haven't been posting for a while. But I have returned! So this takes some set-up. My family and I were on a cruise. As nice as the ship was, the rooms were unbearably small. Basically, imagine one big bed in the middle of the room, and about a foot and a half of room on the sides, maybe two. Then above that, coming from the ceiling, are two of the smallest beds you've ever seen. You  see this when you walk into the room from the "hallway". There's a small passageway between the beds and the door. On the left of that hallway is a puny bathroom, barely big enough to contain the necessary things; a toilet, a bath/shower combo, and a counter with a sink. So, as you can tell, everyone was a bit confined, especially since there were four of us. My sister and I slept on the ceiling "beds", and my mom and dad on the bed below. By the way, no railings on the ceiling beds, so if we fell, it would be on our mom and dad. Not that that has anything to do with the story.

I forgot why, but one of the seven days on the cruise required us to wake up pretty early, so my mom scheduled a wake up call. In the morning, the phone rang, doing it's purpose to wake us all up. It was pitch black in the room. Suddenly we heard a loud boom and a groan. My mom had jumped out of bed, and ran right into the wall beside her. I guess she had forgotten the size of the room...the pitch black didn't help either.

So, that is the story of why you should never schedule a wake up call on a cruise ship with tiny rooms. Just use your iPhone or something! Also, be aware of your surroundings. :)

Also, final note, if you ever have something to suggest for my next entry, or a question, you can leave a comment or email me at llamahouseparty@gmail.com. Love you all!!!

Crazy Dreams

This story is not necessarily about me and my dreams, though I am contributing to the pile. But I recently was talking to my family and we ended up on the topic of funny/crazy/weird dreams. I decided I'd share them with you. I know some people don't like to hear about dreams, but that's too bad for you, because I'm going to talk about them anyways. I chose the funniest from all my family members that shared. Read to your heart's content!

Sister: My sister's funniest dream actually got her really angry. She was mad at my mom for a couple days. Dream...engage! So basically our house was burning down. And my sister was trying to escape, but every time she tried to get out of the house, our mom, who was outside already, kept telling her to get more pictures and other things. My sister would have to go back in the house with a garbage bag, get more stuff, and then try to come out again. And then our mom would make her go back in. Pretty soon she woke up, and as I mentioned before, she was pretty pissed. Hope my mom didn't take it personally.

Aunt: Billy Ray Cyrus is a big country star, and back when my aunt had this dream, it was around the time of songs like "Achey Breaky Heart". Dream...engage! As strange as it seems, my aunt was running through a forest, with B.R.C. chasing after her. She eventually came to a big tree and hid behind. She peeked around the corner to see if he was gone, and he was right there and punched her in the face. She woke up and felt the pain of the punch, just like a lot of dreams where you think it's real and it's actually not. She went back to sleep. The next morning, though, she had a swollen lip. It turns out, she had punched herself in the face in her sleep. Crazy, right?

Mom: In Spongebob Squarepants, Spongebob and Patrick often blow bubbles shaped, well, not like bubbles. Who knows? Maybe they're dangerous. Dream...engage! (NOTE: my mom was at a very young age when this dream occurred.) Everyone in her family had been killed by the bubble letters. Except her sister, who was next in the Letters' list of victims. The only logical thing was to save them both. Still asleep, my mom grabbed her two-year-old sister and started towards the front door. But my aunt was not in on this plan, and started screaming as my mom dragged her further to the door, the only escape from the Bubble Letters. Both my mom and my aunt were screaming, though for different reasons, and it attracted their parents from their room. My mom thought that they were Bubble Letters, and started screaming even more as they tried to retrieve the poor two-year-old. Eventually, my grandma had to slap my mom to get her to wake up, and the ordeal was over.

Me: I have many dream stories, since I sleep talk quite often, but I'm only going to tell my favorite. My cousin is the same age as me, older by only a couple of months, and this caused the dream to be stranger still. Dream...engage! I was on a Littlest Pet Shop train. I'm not sure why, but that's how it happened. I, for some reason, was a full grown adult, and my cousin was a baby. I thought the train was dangerous, so wanting to save my baby cousin, I attempted to, well, throw her off the train. I was just about to let go of the child, when I woke up, with my hands in the air, and my mom was sitting right there. I think I had been doing more in my sleep than I realized...

So if you have any really funny dreams, no matter how long they are, please comment and tell about your crazy dream.

The Pepsi Incident

How are you today? If you're good, then...that's awesome! I'm doing pretty well today myself. If you're bad, then I'm really sorry. Please smile. Hopefully this post will help with that task.

It started on a completely regular Sunday. I went upstairs to get a water bottle from the fridge. Unfortunately, we had hosted a party the previous night and had a few two-liter bottles of soda on the top shelf. The thing is, the bottles were a bit unstable, especially the Pepsi bottle that was right next to the edge of the shelf. And it fell. Quickly. Hardly. With Force. Basically, the lid popped off and it exploded. It was not pretty.

At first I was shocked. You would be too if you innocently opened the fridge and got surprised by a flood of brown carbonated liquid. It got in my eyes and my mouth, which was currently in the process of eating a cough drop. Not only did it get on me, but also in every nook and cranny of the kitchen. And a few splashes in the living room that was a level lower than the kitchen.

After a quick shower to lessen the sticky and about an hour of deep cleaning, we had an almost spotless kitchen. I say almost, because over the next few months, we found Pepsi in various places, such as behind the fridge, on a tall cabinet, or on the wall behind the sink. I will never forget that day. It was both the most hilarious and the most embarrassing day I've ever had. At least it was only my family there. Good bye my wonderful viewers!

Intro To ME!

Hello people who are awesome enough to currently be looking at  my blog! You obviously rock. I hope this blog will make you smile, laugh, and just enjoy being an internet-goer. I made this blog because I was bored. Also, sometimes I'm sad. I know that all people are sad, angry, and upset at times. I am one of those people. Things that make me smile are funny things. Because laughter is the best medicine, as you all know. I like funny stories too. I plan to write funny stories. It will help me to get my mind off bad things and onto good things, and help readers to smile and laugh as well...I hope. So, here goes my first story. This story is about a spider. Enjoy...

So it all started when my parents went to New York for their anniversary. My sister and I went to stay with my grandparents while they were gone. My room was upstairs, my sister's downstairs, but I was somewhat afraid to sleep alone in the creepy dark where night-demons live, so I went to her room and slept on the floor.

Well one morning we woke up at the same time, because we were hungry. I used to be more of a morning person, and not really afraid of bugs, so I scampered off to the hallway to go upstairs where the kitchen was. It was then that I saw it on the stair...the spider. Now this was no regular spider. It was a huge, hairy spider that looked like the foreign spider I had seen in the newspaper. I was terrified. I ran screaming back into the bedroom. My sister saw it a second after me, and reacted the same way. The worst thing is, we were trapped. There was no way to the kitchen. The spider wouldn't move. We wouldn't touch it. My grandma was asleep so we couldn't call her. So we did the only logical thing-internet.

Luckily, we were not completely starved. There was assorted junk food that we had hoarded the previous night, such as jerky, animal crackers, and a few other unhealthy things. My sister grabbed her laptop and went straight to Tumblr. It was a great morning, but we realized we should probably eat real food. Also, it was cold. And that's when it hit me-there was a side door. We felt extremely stupid for not remembering earlier. We could easily go out the side door and come back in through the front door. Still in the haze of morning, I did one more stupid thing. I did not get breakfast. I grabbed a bag of potato chips, and wrote a note to my grandma that we were trapped.

I don't remember how the events went along, but eventually my sister and I got food and my grandma killed the spider with a tissue, at which my sister and I cringed. Though the rest of the day was fine, we still saw two more spiders plus a centipede in various places of the basement. We were somewhat afraid of the basement after that, as it had proven to be similar to the creepy evolution room in, well, Evolution. But until today, I hadn't even thought about that. I guess thoughts disappear fairly quickly. I wish my fear of the dark had gone away that fast...

Anyways, to finish off your laughing experience, here is a wonderfully funny picture that relates to the story.
